Camp Ellis Beach

It's early in the morning, you are taking a walk down a nice quiet street.   You pass a man and woman walking the opposite way with coffee's in their hand, a newspaper under his arm.  "Good morning" they say to you.  You nod your head and return the neighborly greeting.

A minute later, you walk into the General Store.  You can smell breakfast being cooked up for another neighbor.  You are again greeted with a smile and kind word.

Is this the 1970s?

No, you are in Camp Ellis in Saco Maine.

Camp Ellis is a throwback to yesteryear in many ways.  A great beach for families, local lobstermen selling their daily catch right from their houses.  Being able to walk to a couple of restaurants for a dinner.  Cottages dating back into the 1890s.

There are so many things to do in Camp Ellis, once you park your car, you could stay and enjoy your entire week without ever turning the key on again if you dont want to.

Please join John and Roxanne on a video as they visit local businesses, all within Camp Ellis by clicking the link below.  When you stay in Camp Ellis please tell them you saw them on

Also please check out our own cottage for rent that can be rented at any point during the year.
