The 3 Bedrooms

The Master Bedroom features a queen size bed with pillow top mattress.
This room also features a color tv and antique oak bureau with a view of the tidal marsh
The middle bedroom features a "Little Nemo" type look with its blue ocean border and bunk bed.
The bunk bed is a full size mattress on the bottom with a twin on the top. The top bunk can handle up to 120lbs.

The 3rd bedroom has another queen size bed with pillow top mattress.
All bedrooms have large closets

The Village of Camp Ellis is located at the junction of the Saco River and the Atlantic Ocean. Renters of our cottage can walk on the rock jetty and see this beautiful scene on the river on 1 side and when they look to the other side, view the 7 mile long beach on the ocean.
Pictured above is Camp Ellis Beach as the tide is going out. A very quiet beach, especially during the off season where you can literally walk for miles at low tide.
Camp Ellis has several restaurants located right near the ocean and river.
Huot’s Restaurant Fried food take-out and full-service restaurant. Two generations of the Huot family have turned this simple restaurant into a well-loved and respected business. Many fresh seafood entrees available. Seasonal.
Wormwoods Camp Ellis, Saco Full service seafood restaurant. Open Year round. One of the most famous restaurants in the area.
Maxies: Enjoy breakfast on the deck overlooking the Saco River. take a break from the beach for lunch or an early dinner. Open Seasonal.

SeaHawk: Named after a ship right out of Camp Ellis, this unique store opens after 7pm during the season.
Camp Ellis Connection: The Local General Store and so much more. Pick up your milk and bread, but don't forget the homemade cinnamon buns.
Chars: After dining on the deck at Maxies, step next door into a wide array of special memory items from Maine, including Camp Ellis itself.

SACO DRIVE-IN - Rte 1 in Saco
When was the last time you were at a drive-in? Many states these are near extinction. CT only has 1 left. Well, a 10 minute drive from our cottage will bring you to the entrance of the second oldest drive-in in operation in the entire United States. built back in the 1930s.
It is a great wonderul event that few can even experience any more. The concession stand is just like the ones you may remember back in the 1960s. family owned and operated. This has become "must do" annual event for many of our renters. Highly recommended.

Just a Buck: Everything in this store is $1.00. on a rainy day, head down to the Hannaford mall on Main street in Saco and this store is on the far left. Many souveniers for those visiting maine and other things. Renters have commented that they have been to many dollar stores around New England, and not one comes close to this store.

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. - worth the trip, take !-95 south over the bridge into historic Portsmouth. See the STRAWBERRY BANKE, shop the streets of the historic city, cruise the harbor, and dine in some of the finest seafood restaurants in the north. KENNEBUNK - drive south on !-95 and exit into Kennebunk for a pleasant shopping surprise, fine food in the many waterfront restaurants, our favorite is the ARUNDEL WHARF, and make sure you take the TROLLEY around the township and along the ocean past the BUSH ESTATE and some of the largest homes in Maine, parking is a premium so get there early
